Harmonica Care Clinic with Spencer Le Huquet

Free Event. Join our in-house harmonica expert Spencer Le Huquet to learn the ins and outs of repairing and caring for mouth harp to keep it in peak playing condition and hygienically safe (dirty harmonicas can be a health hazard!).

At this clinic, you will learn to disassamble and care for you instrument without damaging it. Hohner and Lee Oskar authorized replacement parts will be available for purchase.

Jim McLaughlin: An Exploration of Harmonica History

Free event. World Harmonica Champion Jim McLaughlin will be showcasing Lee Oskar harmonicas and all his historical whistlin’ biscuits. Free swag, while supplies last!

Hohner Showcase Special with Mark DuFresne

Free event. Grammy-nominated Hohner endorsee, blues artist, and shromatic harmonica expert Mark DuFresne showcases a variety of Hohner harmonica styles and models. Raffle for a Hohner Pro level harmonica.

Kids’ Harmonica Day

A special introductory class for kids (and parents) who want to get started playing the harmonica. $10 Fee includes beginner lesson, a Chicago Blues harmonica, and your very own customizable bag.

Kids will learn how to read the basics of harmonica music, decorate their harmonica bag, and familiarize themselves with the mouth harp. Limited to 15 spots. First come, first served.

Local artists Andy “Badd Dog” Koch of the Badd Dog Blues Society and Jan Peters of the Gallowglass Irish Band and The Tango Cowboys will provide insight into developing your harmonica playing style in different musical genres such as Blues, Folk, Klezmer, and more!
