Since 1931, Armstrong flutes have had a reputation for sweet sound and quality craftsmanship, from the highest level professional flute to the basic student model. Thanks to a foundation in family-owned business that was taken on by Conn-Selmer, Armstrong flutes have an association with innovation and standard-setting technological advances in tuning and performance.
Created by master flutemaker Shuichi Tanaka, the founder of Altus flutes, Azumi flutes are the perfect choice for the serious flute student or aspiring professional. Every Azumi comes with an Altus Z-cut headjoint, and they are the top choice of most of our local teachers. Although they are a relatively new company, they have quickly made a name for themselves with high quality workmanship, good materials, and responsiveness to their customers.
