Conn New Wonder II "Chu Berry" Soprano Saxophone - 1926

This is a 1926 Conn New Wonder II "Chu Berry" soprano saxophone, keyed to high F with rolled toneholes.

A truly gorgeous instrument, this soprano is in fantastic condition. The matte silver plated finish, buffed silver keys and engraving, and gold washed bell are exquisite, with only a few very minor scuffs and scratches. It is in great mechanical shape as well, having just received a clean, oil, and adjust service in our in-house repair shop.

This is an incredibly sweet sounding soprano with exceptional response and the fantastic tone that the "Chu Berry" era of Conn saxophones in known for. We recommend a large-chamber mouthpiece for good intonation.
