SML Revision D Alto Saxophone - 1955

Features

This is an SML Revision D Alto Saxophone in good condition.

Manufactured in France in 1955, this saxophone is an excellent example of SML's most well-known model. SML saxophones are extremely well regarded, and were a strong competitor to the Selmer company in their time.

With comfortable ergonomics and rich depth of tone, this Revision D saxophone features rolled toneholes and original lacquer. The pads are a mix of older and newer pads, with plenty of life left, and the saxophone has excellent response and evenness of tone throughout the range.

If you're looking for a vintage French saxophone for a fraction of the price of a Selmer, then this may be the horn for you.

Includes non-original vintage hard case.
