This is a 1971 Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone with an old relacquer.
This is your chance to get the classic Mark VI sound without the monumental price tag that most Mark VI tenors are going for. The old relacquer shows significant wear, and the pearl touchpieces are worn down a fair bit. The most significant wear is the right hand low Eb/C key touchpieces, which may need to be addressed sometime in the future. All that said, this horn has been given a full clean, oil, and adjust service in our repair shop. The pads are in excellent shape, and the action feels great.
The sound is fantastic, with great response, excellent projection, and even timbre throughout the range.
Includes Gator case, Otto Link Super Tone Master 6 mouthpiece, and Jody Jazz DV NY 7 mouthpiece.
