Disclaimer: All of our prices listed on this website are estimates ONLY. Since there is no way for us to estimate an instrument over the phone, we do not quote repair jobs without being able to see them. This allows us to give accurate estimates and saves you some potential frustration. All instruments and situations are unique, so each one must be handled and priced accordingly.

The below prices are based on instruments in good playing condition. Additional costs for repairs may be needed in order to complete the repair. An estimate will be provided to you before work is done. For any repairs not listed, please inquire by phone at 360-733-5840.

All estimates are good for 60 days after the date the estimate is made.

Restring, Tune & Polish (Does not include cost of strings)

Restringing is the most common string repair we see. Strings will occasionally break with age and wear. We recommend installing a full set of new strings on classical guitar or ukulele every six months. Steel string guitars and basses will need strings replaced as often as the player feels is necessary. When installing new strings, it is best to replace the whole set as one or two new strings will sound, play, and function differently than the old ones. We have a large selection of various brands and types of strings and can recommend a set for any playing style. While installing the new strings, we will inspect your instrument for other damage or maintenance issues and recommend repairs to fix or prevent future damage.

  • 12 String Guitar. Classical (Nylon), Floating Bridge (Floyd Rose) — $45
  • Install basic strap button – $8/button

Set-Up/PC (Does not include cost of strings)

A set-up on string instruments is needed at least twice a year, as wood instruments move with the seasonal changes affecting their playability.

Includes: Adjust truss rod, nut slots, bridge radius, check & clean electronics, pick-up height, intonation, tighten all screws, check braces (acoustic), polish frets, condition fingerboard & instrument, and restring. For extra dirty instruments, as determined by our tech, we will estimate an additional cleaning cost. If any other issues are found, we will call you with an additional estimate before we proceed with work.

We have an in-house luthier who will inspect your instrument for any work needed including fret work, cracks, bridges and nuts, broken necks, tuning peg issues, and guitar electronics. If your string instrument is having any issues, please bring it to us and we can give you a full assessment on what it might need.
